A year ago today I was traveling back from Scotland by plane after photographing the very intimate wedding of Natalie and Huw at Castle Lachlan in Strathlachlan.

What a whirlwind weekend to travel to Scotland to photograph this special day where close family and friends had traveled from Gloucestershire / Herefordshire to Strathlachlan to share the wedding day.

Natalie and Huw had made their day a bit more unique by taking a bit of Gloucestershire with them in the form of suppliers (like myself and Sandie from BellaBridal Hair) and wedding items from other Gloucestershire suppliers such as artificial flowers by Kopend Creations, stationery and place names by Butterfly Celebrations and a disco from Major Entertainment. Not to mention the wedding dress from Linda Gray Bridal.

As you can imagine the weather in Scotland in September can be a little unpredictable  for wedding photography and having spent the morning with bright sunshine, we dodged a few showers whilst shooting the bridal portraits outside around the castle in the afternoon before I headed back to Gloucestershire.

It just goes to show what can be achieved by jetting off to Scotland for a spot of Wedding Photography. Hope you enjoy the sneaky peek below.
